Pumpkin Patch

On October 2 we went to Poppell Farms Pumpkin Patch!  It was lots of fun!  They had a cow train, a bouncy house, slides, animals, a hay ride to the pumpkin patch.  Enough fun to keep you busy for a few hours.  Although the hour and half drive (one way) was not so much fun we decided that it was definitely worth the drive!  We ended the fun morning with a picnic lunch with some of the friends that came with us.  Other friends that came checked out the corn maze before heading home, we decided a corn maze probably wasn't high on Nolan's priority list yet.  And we got to come home with two cute pumpkins!  And...active duty military and under the age of 3 were free!  So, if you are in the area check it out!
On the hayride.

Starting to check out all the pumpkins.

Still looking for that perfect one.

We decided his goal was to just keep walking through the pumpkins :)

 This one will do nicely...

What do you mean I can't take this one home?

Hmm...this one looks good.

Yep, it throws just right, makes a good sound hitting the ground too.

I think I'll keep it.

Are you sure we can't take the big one with us too?

Makes a nice chair.

Just chilling...

What a wonderful day!

What's with all this corn?

Nolan and the Baker kids.

Nolan and Alban bouncing.

Riding the bull!

Taking a ride on the cow train.

Trying to get one last family shot before making the drive back...someone was more interested in all the cool things going on.

And...Daddy gave me a toothpick...like always.   So Mama snapped a photo and then promptly took it away from me. (This scenario plays out way too many times in our daily life.)

Daddy and Nolan on the hayride.  My two men are so handsome!
(out of order, can't get it to move to the correct spot, oh well)

We hope that everyone is having a great fall season!  We are looking forward to the holidays and preparing for this little girl to come in the new year!
