Celery is much better than sweets :)

We went to our neighbors church for a party last night then came back home and passed out candy.  Even though we "missed out" on about 2 hours of trick-or-treating we still ran out of candy real quick.  I think if we had sat there the whole night with unlimited amounts of goodies we probably would have had well over 300 kids come by!
The recent musical that we just went to became our inspiration for Nolan's costume this year.  He was the mouse from "If you give a mouse a cookie"  Although a ninja would still be a great option for this little boy.  Especially since he still fit in the clothes from last year's ninja outfit (the black shirt was reused for tonight's costume).  And he loves to chop things with sticks, bats, etc.  We have decided that he recognizes himself in the mirror.  At least last night he did.  And he was not happy about the "mouse nose" I drew on his face.  Everytime he went by the full-length mirror in our room he would get hysterical and come to me trying to wipe it off.  I pretended to wipe it off several times, it never fooled that little tyke.  He could tell it was still there.  A cookie finally made the little mouse forget about his adorable nose :).

Our mouse with his celery...didn't want any sweets.  Guess the cookies he ate before we left the house were enough haha!

They convinced Daniel to bob for apples.

Got one!

Have to dry off...

Showing off his apple!

Nolan the mouse, Daddy the little boy, and Mama/wee lady as a skeleton.

Mouse with cookie (and celery)

Daddy's full outfit hehe rosy red cheeks and all

Pin the nose on the jack-o-lantern

Look at that face!

Pushing the stroller around.

Running to bring his ears that fell off to Mama.

Ready for the walk home.

Passing out candy at the house.

Nolan wanted to give the kids the candy.  He never once got freaked out by 30 people (literally) in his yard at a time.

After we ran out of candy we went next door to hang out with Gary and Carla.  This is Nolan's favorite spot in their house.  Wonder why?
