Adventures in toddlerhood...

On November 18 we switched Nolan over to his toddler bed. This is the same toddler bed my sister and I slept in when we were little.  It was an interesting first couple of days. The first naptime on Friday took two and half hours for him to fall asleep and then he only slept for thirty minutes.  Exhausting, it was a good thing we started on Thursday night when Daniel didn't have to be back to work until Sunday morning.  Bedtime has been easier than naptime (only took thirty minutes to get him to go to bed the first night). He has gotten the hang of it, and it really didn't take that long. But sometimes when Daddy is home from work Nolan seems so excited about this that naptime is not on his list of things to accomplish that day.

This is the picture Mommy decided to take the first night in the toddler bed.
I couldn't resist but it jolted him to fully awake status :-)

Great Uncle Darryl and Great Aunt Donna sent me a bear with a hunny pot.  Nolan loves it.
Thank you for all your homemade gifts Uncle Darryl...they are treasures to be enjoyed for years!

After two rough nap days this past weekend when Daddy was home Mommy decided to put my sleeper back on to see if that would help.  After nap time she changed my clothes back but I really wanted to still wear that sleeper.  And so this is how I walked around the house the rest of the day, with my coat/cape with footies.  Daddy thought it was quite funny when I greeted him on the porch after work.  I did take it off before dinner though.  Didn't want to mess it up.
