Today the air station hosted an Easter egg hunt and cook out on base (be in extreme shock that I am actually getting something up on the blog the SAME day it happened...wow). It was a little chilly and very windy but lots of fun. Nolan wasn't really into the actual hunting of eggs...maybe after he starts walking. We ended up grabbing some to give to him after he proceeded to just stare at us while we pointed at an egg. You want me to do what? Easter eggs are like hot cakes, you have to get them quick or they are all gone. A couple of kids even came by and snatched his eggs from him while we were taking pictures, pretty funny stuff.

Our new friends Stefanie and Sara live near the beach...so we went out for a playdate yesterday. Nolan wasn't quite sure what to think of the sand. He hasn't had too many opportunities to sit and play in it before. We are hoping to go out there lots of times before it gets too hot and nasty. It was a successful trip seeing as Nolan didn't even get sunburned! Thanks to his spiffy new spf50 hat and some sunscreen.
