June 2009

The Coast Guard Liaison Officer for flight school had a retirement ceremony and we attended.  He flew the HH-65 Dolphin so they had one flown in from Mobile.  It was fun to see up close the helicopter Daniel will be flying soon.

Audrey had surgery this month.  She had a growth on her right shoulder.  We had it removed.  Afterwards she kept licking it so we had to go get a cone.  She was not happy about that.  For the first 24 hours she didn't lay down with it on.  It was quite hilarious.  She would only lay down until we took it off to give her a break.

We took Nolan to a park down the road and he rode down a slide for the first time.
Fathers' Day was this month.  I got a shirt for Nolan to wear for $1.00 at a consignment sale.  I was pretty excited about this find.  We went to church that morning and went to celebrate the night before by going out for some sushi.
Upclose of the AWESOME shirt!  Father bear and son bear walking carrying fishing rods and pails.
Happy baby hanging out with his daddy!
These are just some pictures we took in the backyard.  Making good use of the Bumbo.  Another essential baby item for us. We purchased it used, definately better than paying full price.
Audrey loves being round all the commotion...and Nolan loves her.
Sweet baby!
This is a picture of my wonderful friend Audra.  This picture was taken after she was very proud of herself for actually putting Nolan to sleep.
