My mom came down to do the half marathon here in Savannah with me. She does them quite often but this was my first, and probably only one. I just have no desire to do it. Eh.
Anyways, we finished in 3 hours and 20 minutes. My goal was to finish, which Daniel didn't think I would even finish, let alone do it in under 3 1/2 hours. Say thank you Sandy Vincent who pushed me to go faster the entire time. I knew I could finish, just didn't know (or care) how long it would take. My mom does them in about 2 1/2 hours normally, she didn't even break a sweat!
Daniel did the marathon. He did it in 4 1/2 hours I think. He also said he would never do it again. But my mom has pretty much talked him into running the full with her next year...crazies.
