Felicity Noelle Lavinder

Born January 15 at 2:25am.  She weighed 6 lbs 5 oz and was 18.5 inches long.  All praise and glory to God that she was and is a healthy baby.  No IUGR here.  We chose to not go with an induction even though we were going against medical advice.  We truly felt that God was asking us to trust him that nothing was wrong with her.  IUGR is interuterine growth restriction.  Because she was smaller than the average baby in the womb the doctors were worried she might not be gettting enough nutrition.  They had no signs of anything being wrong with her except that she weighed less than the average child.  We are not giant people so we just happen to make tiny babies.  Nolan weighed 6 lbs 5.6 oz when he was born...so not a big difference. 

She is here, her brother seems to be enjoying her presence.  And even though the two year old tantrums arrived with full force about two weeks before she was born we are adjusting to life.  Daniel went back to work this past Monday but his mother has been here to help.  My mother was here when Felicity was born to help watch Nolan.  So this Sunday when Daniel heads to work and my inlaws leave will be the first time for me alone with two kids.  A little nervous but I am sure we will make it through, maybe not without a few tears of frustration but we will survive.  :)
